- Identify and implement tracking measures for member recruitment and engagement

- In 2008, the section hosted an informal social. In 2009, the section will host a formal 40th anniversary celebration.

- Assess diversity of current section and governing council leaders as compared to section diversity

- Work with section chair-elect on day to day section adminstration
- Chair-Elect will be alerted to availability of inventory document, and encouraged to participate in the chair-elect meeting in summer.

- The CHPPD Section works with the Student Assembly through the Student Committee Chair/Liaison
- The CHPPD Student Committee is working with the Student Assembly to sponsor 1 student-focused activity at the Annual Meeting, and this is????
- In 2008, 1600 students attended APHA meetings, and 27 students were session presenters in the CHPPD program
