1. CHPPD Photo Journal Demonstration Project (draft) Description (What is the project):
Awardees will develop a photojournal of digital photos with captions of between five to 10 photograph on the following on the impact of community health planning and policy development on the themes listed below. There will be two common themes in all the photojournals: (a) impact of community health planning and policy development; (2) historical context. The photojournals will be displayed online. The context for the themes may be diverse including:
- Access to Clean Water: Planning and Policy Development
- Assessing, Planning, Evaluating and Financing Community Health Programs
- Balancing Equity, Effectiveness and Efficiency in Health System Reform
- Collaborative Community Health Planning and Policy Development

What is the goal and objectives of the project
Overarching goal is two fold: To understand the overall impact of community health planning and policy development within the context of a specific issue or subject area including how it has built on historical happenings, and at the same time identify section members and leaders.
Objectives:
1. Identify impact of community health planning and policy development within the context of five issues or topics.
2. Increase understanding of role of historical context of community health planning and policy development
3. Increase understanding of context within which section member works
Outcome:
5 - 10 photojournals

An advisory group of CHPPD Section leaders will assist with guiding awardees through the process. The makeup of the advisory group will vary by topic, and possibly location of the project.
